Welcome to the official business community website of Cornish, Maine and the Sacopee Valley

Cornish, Maine is part of the Sacopee Valley, which is located in the foothills of the White Mountains, midway between the coastal city of Portland and the picturesque Mt. Washington Valley of New Hampshire. It is called the Crown Jewel of York County* and voted as one of the 2016 "Sweet 16" for "Best Places to Live in Maine".

Cornish is one of the towns making up the Sacopee Valley area. Our nearby neighbors are Baldwin, Brownfield, Hiram, Fryeburg, Kezar Falls, Limington, Limerick, Parsonsfield, and Porter. The word "Sacopee" is derived from Saco and Ossipee, the two major rivers that flow along our borders.
