Become a CAB Community Volunteer
Each year, CAB sponsors wonderful family friendly FREE community events.

Our events include the annual Strawberry and Apple Festivals and are held in historic areas of Cornish, Maine which is located in the scenic Western mountain and lakes region of Maine on Route 25 — 30 miles West of Portland and 9 miles East of the New Hampshire border.
CAB coordinates & sponsors several events, and community enrichment activities throughout the year including our scholarship program, crosswalk painting, and handing out hot cocoa and cookies to kids at Chrismas in Cornish, another great CAB event.

The manpower needed to organize and produce these events means that we are always in need of volunteers.
You DO NOT need to be a CAB member to volunteer!
Some of the ways you can help include
Festivals + Events
Each of our festivals and events come with their own list of tasks, which are delegated by the committee chair. These tasks include promotion, set up the day before, tasks during, and clean up after.
Membership
Do you know of a new business, or perhaps an existing one that does not belong to CAB? We appreciate your help in letting other businesses know that we are here to grow with them!

Fundraising
Everyone's favorite part!
Hey, somebody has to do it. We need volunteers to ask local businesses for donations of prize items, or monetary donations for events, scholarship fund, etc.
Community
CAB takes an active role in the Cornish community. We paint the crosswalks each year (using paint provided by the Town), provide free public restrooms, provide visitor information, and more.
