Before this owl came to be, the canvas background colors were pink and yellow. A vibrant paint pour that I mistakenly run my hands through. I ended up using my hands to mix the colors into a muddy gray but was later able to see an inspiring scene. Some strong colors still shined through and I loved the natural swirls created by my fingers. I saw a winter sunrise and I placed the lovely great horned owl in a curvy tree.
